Bike
to a Mennonite Community
The
tour starts at 6:00am with a nine mile bike ride starting
in San Ignacio and continuing via the Iguana Reserve at
Branch Mouth. This is the place were the Mopan and Macal
Rivers join to make the start of the Belize River.
Onward
through several small immigrant communities along the
way to Spanish Lookout.
We
will be visiting different places like the Western Dairy
ice cream factory, crocodile site seeing at Aguacate lagoon
and lunch at a Mennonite buffet restaurant. On the way
back to San Ignacio we will visit Ms. Beatrice Waight,
a herbal healer.
The
cost of this activity is US$60 person and includes bike,
lunch, and meeting with medicinal healer. |
